NEWS: Hanjin failure seen delivering little relief to container shippers

With the recent collapse of Hanjin the industry still faces the problem of supply and demand.    Large container ships were designed and introduced to cut operating costs however this has increased capacity and growth in trade volumes has been slow.

In an attempt to recover cost there have been various  stabs taken at hiking freight prices, to limited effect.
