Dear Valued Client,
This is a friendly reminder regarding a key change that will affect Packing Declarations provided with shipping documents.
‘Prohibited packaging material statement’ as required by the Non-commodity information requirements policy has been replaced by the ‘unacceptable packaging statement’.
The new wording will be required for all Packer/Supplier – Combined FCL/LCL packing declarations declarations commencing from the 17th June 2017.
The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR) will continue to accept packaging statement with the word ‘prohibited’ until 16th June 2017, however new templates are routinely being used and can be used commencing immediately.
